In order to apply at the Buffalo passport agency, you must fulfill the following criteria:

1. If you haven't applied yet, you should have plans to travel internationally within the next 14 calendar days.
2. If you have already applied, your international travel should be scheduled within the next 5 calendar days.
3. You must be able to provide printed proof of your international travel (examples can be found in the 'Collect all your application materials' section on this page).
4. Along with the regular application fees, you are required to pay an expedite fee of $60.

Please note that if you haven't applied yet, your appointment must be scheduled within 14 calendar days of your international travel. If you have already applied, your appointment should be within 5 calendar days of your international travel. If you need a foreign visa, your appointment date must be within 28 calendar days of your international travel.
